Membership

User:  Anyone whose has registered and has been validated by others in a similar status, or by an authorised SPAI representative.  A user could be an ex-student, student, a teacher, a Brother, etc - and they will have rights specific to that status.

Member:  All ex-students of SPS are automatically considered FULL members of SPAI, for life.  If they passed an SPS board exam, they are technically alumni as well.*

Registered Member:  Although already a member, in order to verify one’s status and access the large national and international network, one needs to register.  To register one can do so directly with SPAI or via an official SPAI chapter or area representative.

Chapter Member:  All ex-students of SPS are eligible to join a chapter if they reside within the territory of a chapter.  If they have registered with SPAI and we know where they reside they will be automatically be considered a member of that chapter.

Costs:  SPAI membership is free, as is belonging to any SPAI chapter.  Donations to both are encouraged, but not required.  While all alumni (chapter members or not) are welcome to special chapter events that have a cost, a chapter may offer a lower “donor rate” to one who has donated any amount to the chapter in recognition of their support.

*Sometimes, those who have studied from KG to Class 9 had to leave because of a family move, and we want to give ex-students who have not passed an SPS board exam the same access we give alumni who came for two years and have passed ISC.  So we welcome anyone who has spent at least half a year at SPS and has fostered some memories and friendships in classes at SPS.  Although technically not alumni, we offer similar privileges to them.
