Reunions are alumni gatherings in Asansol which bring SPS alumni from all over India and overseas back to their alma mater to catch up with classmates, reminisce and reconnect with SPS. Many bring their families to show the school that played a key role in shaping them, the place where so many of their childhood memories and dreams spring from.
All alumni are welcome. We make a special effort to invite those batches celebrating their 5th, 10th, 15th (and older) anniversaries, including the silver and golden jubilee classes.
SPAI has initiated and financially backed all three Reunions since 2006. And subject to demand from alumni, we will do so in the future. Reunions have ranged from 1-day events to multi-day events. They will start on the third Friday of the December of a Reunion year.
One of the most memorable programmes has been Reunion Classes, where our former teachers come back to teach fun classes once again. Typically, we’ve also included an Awards Ceremony, where we honour our teachers, recognise all-round excellence in students and highlight alumni accomplishments.
